We created a sequence of 10 intelligent digital screens that ran alongside the moving walkway at the south terminal tunnels at Gatwick.
The digital screens constantly changed with interesting facts relating to the next incoming and outgoing Virgin holidays flight destination. As you moved down the travelator, he messages would update with facts like the water temperature at the resort of the number of people on a rollercoaster.
Frequent flyers and special customers were given a far-field RFID luggage tag. This would trigger as they entered the tunnel and and greet them on the first screen, individual turning their walk through the tunnel into a 100ft long tailored experience, with messages that were specifically for them on each of the 10 digital panels.
