Using live data feeds, Sofa Stadium allows users to react to and comment on game events in real time, capturing the mood of fans watching the live football game everywhere.
Users could discuss the game with fellow fans in the chat panel; vote on key match incidents as they happened and follow rumours from Twitter. Through this activity, Virgin Media was able to collect data and engage with customers and prospects around its Sports TV content and its internet broadband services.
