This digital campaign was for the launch of the Audi R8 super car.
The Audi R8 when it was initially launched was built and crafted by hand, taking 48 hours to assemble one car which led to the campaign proposition “The slowest car Audi has ever built”. From this we arrived at the concept for the site, we created a clock face typographic illustration, each contained an engineering story about the R8.
When you navigated the site, the stories of the cars build were brought to life with the car building as it rotated with accompanying animations and content.
The digital launch was supplemented by online display and an interactive “press red” tv takeover.
The site was also covered in a 4 page article in Web Designer magazine.
